Welcome to Townsville Regional Lego User Group (TRLUG)

Welcome to the TRLUG website.

We are a non-for-profit Adult Fans of LEGO® social group. Throughout the year we have some great club events, displays and meet-ups where you get to connect with other adult LEGO® fans from Townsville and surrounds. As LEGO® enthusiasts, we have joined together to share our common passion with each other and members of the community.

Our ultimate goal is to share LEGO® beyond our club, build a social group of like-minded individuals and perhaps even foster some life-long friendships too. In doing so, our enjoyment of LEGO® is enhanced too.

Social Build Days
11:00 – 13:15
Social Build Days are held on the last Sunday of each month from January to November, unless otherwise noted. What do we do? The sessions generally start with a fun LEGO trivia (don't worry, most of us are bad at it), then we sit and chat and build whatever LEGO we've brought along with us. Some build, some sort bulk parts or minifigures, whatever they feel like on the day. This is a relaxed setting where you can come and interact with people who share your love of LEGO. The majority of participants are adults, but children are welcome (accompanied only), if they will sit and build. Our participants range in age from 4 to 80+ and have varying experience and skills. You bring your own LEGO with you, although we do have a bulk bag for the kids to sit and build from if they finish their own. Tea/Coffee are provided and if you'd like to bring something to contribute to morning tea, it would be welcomed, but is not essential every time. What's the COST? Social Build Days are FREE, however we do encourage you to put a small donation in the box. This helps to cover our costs and also to give back to local not-for-profit organisations and charities. Do I have to be a member? Membership of our paid club is encouraged, but not a requirement to attend Social Days. Joining as a member helps us to cover our essential running costs, including Public Liability Insurance, and also means you become a part of a bunch!! We encourage you to get involved, but there's no pressure. We have two display events (at least) per year, and if you'd like to display, you will need membership. How do I become a member? Click on the Sign Up button on our Facebook Home Page (Townsville RLUG) WHERE IS IT? Our new venue from January 2026 is at Mates4Mates in Aitkenvale. Enter via 5 Casey St Aitkenvale WHAT TIME? 11am to 1.15pm
